Inspired by Ivy League attire from the middle of last century – and more specifically by Teruyoshi Hayashida’s landmark photo book of the same name – these jeans from Kamakura are made in Japan using a 13oz selvedge denim, with a cut reminiscent of classic 1950s pairs. They have a higher rise, and a gently tapered leg giving them a flattering and timelessly stylish silhouette. The middle weight makes them terrifically versatile, too, good for year-round wear. Pair with shirts or explore footwear for everyday wear.
